You should purchase ProjectHand user licenses. After payment is made, a serial code will be sent to you. You can go to our website and apply the serial code to download your license file. | 3. | When I apply the license file to ProjectHand, why the warning "Your Install Server System Date is not matched with the date specified in the License File!" is shown ?
When download license file, "Install Server System Date" is needed to input. The download license file should be applied to your ProjectHand on the date specified by this "Install Server System Date". | |
| 4. | Will the data lost when ProjectHand is upgraded from trial to full version ?
No. The data is stored intact. The upgrade will not affect the data. | |

It depends on which database type you choose. If you choose built-in database, then you no need to do so. Otherwise, you have to create your database before installing ProjectHand, and please make sure that your database is configured to be able to store Unicode data. (Please see next question) | |

If install with third party database, e.g. MySQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server, you should create a database called "Projecthand" first before proceeding the installation. Then configure the database to be able to store Unicode data, and also grant all necessary access privileges to the "Projecthand" database. Besides, you also have to make sure the database server is running during Projecthand installation. | |

If skipped, ProjectHand cannot send out emails. After ProjectHand is installed, you should define the email settings through the ProjectHand admin module. | |

No. Database server can be installed on a separate machine and make sure that there is no connection problem between ProjectHand server and the database server. | |
